Happy International Women’s Day! To celebrate, I’m shining the light on one amazing woman and her work in our world!

On Friday, March 2nd, Author, International Teacher and Human Potential Expert Lynn Woodland wowed us on Get GLOWING! Lynn has worked in fields of transpersonal psychology, human motivation, spiritual healing and mind-body psychology since 1975. Her particular expertise is in what gives rise to miracles and in teaching ordinary people to live extraordinary lives so that miracles become, not just possible, but natural. Bring on the miracles!

Sleeping in last week, I waited til I heard “Go,” from my Guides. I grabbed every last sock then paused to pray, “Let it be peaceful, easy, comfortable and magical today.” I went up, across, down and around with my mountain of laundry. Arriving at the gray basement bunker, I found it deserted. I sorted my stuff into 4 double-loaders and breathed a sigh saying, “Thank you, God, THANK you!”

With spring in my step, I bounced to the laundromat for more quarters. The birds chirped me along and cats crossed to say hello. When I got back, 5 bags of dirty clothes and their owners had arrived on the scene.

I felt something at the bottom of the washer and fished it out:

I texted a photo to my friend who’d gifted me a pair of jeans the night before; I was sure it was hers.

“I found your love in the laundry,” I wrote.

“It’s not mine,” she replied, “it must be yours from the Universe.”

My heart sang in delight! I took my new love up to our apartment and hung it from the chandelier.

When my husband came home, he asked, “You like that?”

“I love it,” I exclaimed, “I LOVE it.”

“Good, baby,” he replied. “I got it last week and forgot to give it to you.”

Here’s to finding love and love finding us!

It happened again last night. A high school boyfriend popped up in my dream. Upon awakening, I found myself full of longing and love for someone I hadn’t thought about in forever!

As I replayed the night’s movie, I could see our whole history so clearly. I hurt him in 9th grade so he hurt me in 11th. But because I subconsciously I knew I “deserved” it, I let it lie. And then it hit me, the intimacy. I couldn’t handle it the first time so I ended it abruptly. And he never forgave me. And I never forgave myself. And just like that, I could do it now!

I googled him. Sending his headshot waves of loving-light, I smiled about where he is and what he’s doing now. Then I sat down with High-School-me. I told her I know she was too scared to let him love her. Giving her a big hug, I said I understand why she protected her heart then. And, as the tears flowed, I reminded her we’ve got a really great man now. And neither of us are going anywhere!

As I continue to feel the healing, I invite you to hunker down into YOUR dreams! Here are 5 simple steps to get the good stuff flowing:

1. Minimize caffeine and go to bed when you feel tired.
2. Set the intention before bed to dream deeply and open to your unconscious.
3. Keep a journal next to you and capture everything you recall upon waking.
4. Meditate and ask for any messages to be made more clear.
5. Find a dream group to work with and behold the magic of this sacred space.

No longer about haves & have-nots, the holiday’s now about unity, oneness and our togetherness in this tub of love!!!

Can you feel it?

No matter where you are or what’s happening, here are 5 simple steps to get you GLOWING with love:

1. Meditate and tune into your heart. Picture the face of someone you love unconditionally. Babies, puppies and other small animals work wonders here! Feel how everything opens around that energy!
2. Take time out to nurture in nature! Hug a tree, talk to the birds and smile at every squirrel you see. Soon you’ll be shining!
3. Love yourself truly, madly and deeply for 5 minutes. Look in the mirror and celebrate the beauty beaming back at you! Isn’t s/he love-ly???
4. Send love to someone you know who needs it! Once you start, it’ll be hard to stop. So don’t! Invite everyone to hop on the love-bus with you!
5. Be. The. Love. That’s right. Live it. Breathe it. Embody it. And accentuate ONLY the positive today!!! See how long you can keep it up!!!
